Eileen M. Mahoney, MD

Dr. Mahoney graduated from Holy Names College in Oakland, California. She graduated from Rush Medical College in Chicago on a scholarship from the U.S. Army. She served in the U.S. Army during her internship and residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. She served as a General Medical Officer in Korea; as well as an Otolaryngologist/Head and Neck Surgeon at Fort Bragg, North Carolina and Fort Sam Houston, Texas. While on active duty she provided medical care to service men, women, and their children as well as veterans and retired service members. She continues to serve on the faculty of the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Her training includes a pediatric otolaryngology fellowship at Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago.

Dr. Mahoney's practice includes patients of all ages. She is a member of the Academy of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery as well as the American Board of Otolaryngologic Allergy. She gives lectures as well as community talks, and teaches residents and medical students.

Philosophy of Care: To provide compassionate and excellent care to otolaryngology patients of all ages, with patient and family education a high priority.

Special Interests: Care of airway, ear, nose, throat and sinus problems of infants and children, ear infections, sleep disordered breathing, tonsil and adenoid problems and general ear, nose, sinus and throat problems of patients of all ages.

Certifications: American Board of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery

Dr. Mahoney sees patients in the Winfield, and Naperville offices.
